The updated 9.7.2 release of the free DB2 Express-C is now available for download.

DB2 Express-C 9.7.2 is now available for download. It is a full refresh of the free edition of DB2 with lots of new features and fixes including:

• Default parameter values in user defined functions (UDFs)
• Named arguments when calling user defined functions
• Ability to copy table spaces and SQL schemas between active databases using RESTORE with TRANSPORT option
• Auditing improvements with full replay of past database activities
• Improved performance and ease of development for .NET applications
