Maybe we should look that up in the dictionary

Once upon a time, vacation meant, well, vacation.  Away from work.  Out of touch.  Needing to call the help desk when you return because you can't remember your e-mail password any more.

As we seem to be in prime vacation season, I've found it interesting how many people now feel the need to include in their out-of-office notices that they are not only on vacation, but on vacation and not checking e-mail (or cell phone).  (Or to go to the other extreme, on vacation but "checking e-mail regularly.")

Isn't something wrong with this picture?
