IBM Redpaper Residency Announcement:  Extending Sametime 7.5 - Building Plug-ins for Sametime
Lotus Sametime Connect 7.5 offers more than simple instant messaging and presence features. Because it is built on Eclipse, a variety of plug-ins that expand the functionality of Lotus Sametime Connect are shipped with the product, and third parties can build additional plug-ins. Some examples of plug-in capabilities that could be added by third parties are enhanced audiovisual conferencing; instant polls of a user community; or the ability to capture, store, and search instant message conversations or meetings.

This Redpaper will introduce a realistic business scenario in which we show how to build one or more Eclipse based plug-ins for Sametime 7.5, walking the user through the process in a step by step guide.

This residency begins 11 Sep 2006, ends 13 Oct 2006 (5 weeks), and requires 4 residents. The residency is running in Cambridge MA.  Nominations should be submitted online on the Web by 16 Aug 2006.
