I was IMing with a colleague late last week to set up a meeting, and asked him to check his schedule for this past Monday.  He replied "Ahh - Monday is my birthday.  It says so on my calendar" to which I replied "Wait - Monday is MY birthday?"

Of course, I shouldn't have been that surprised.  After all, despite there being 365 days in a year, did you know you only need a group of 23 colleagues (or classmates) to have more than a 50% chance of two people sharing a birthday? (More)

All in all, it was a rather lowsy birthday (at least for me - hopefully Sean had a better day).  I came down with a stomach bug Sunday night, and so got to spend my birthday sick in bed.  At least it was only a 24 hour thing, but all in all, if I did have to get sick, I'd have rather it have been a different 24 hours.
