Informix comes up in this press release about the Bank of Chengdu (China) choosing the IBM Power 595 platform for its banking system (emphasis mine).

In addition to its high performance and high availability, the Power 595 server can scale on demand, so it can support Bank of Chengdu’s long-term value-added business. The new core banking system will run IBM Informix database for Bank of Chengdu’s online transactions, further increasing the bank’s core competency, and setting a solid foundation for it to achieve its goal of “becoming a national player based in Chengdu.”
